Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.

Clean tableware.

Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.

Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.

Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.

Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.

Remove trash.

Sweep or scrub floors.

Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.

Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.

Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.

Stock serving stations or dining areas with food or supplies.

Portion food.

Receive and store supplies.

Store supplies or goods in kitchens or storage areas.

Empty and clean garbage cans with water or steam.

Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.

Line Cook

We are looking experienced Line Cooks. Part-time or Full-time available. Pay is dependent upon experience and proven performance.

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Specified preparation of all menu items, cooking skills, which includes quality as well as timeliness.
  • Food preparation,
  • Sanitation - (empty garbage, cleaning cooking line, sanitation buckets, etc.)
  • Rotation of all stock
  • Maintain high cooking standards
  • Side work - as assigned by management (cleaning, restocking, miscellaneous duties)
  • Cost control - (portion control, rotation of food, loss due to improper use of company property-dish breakage, etc.)
  • Clean-up duties - line area, grill, fryer, microwave, floors, cooler and freezers

UNIFORM CODE

  • You must present yourself in a neat, clean, professional manner (clean uniform each shift, clean well-trimmed nails, good personal hygiene, no gum chewing while on duty, etc.)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Prior work experience in a high volume restaurant kitchen.

    Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
